dc.description	The strategic location of the ancient Maghreb played an important role in attracting many peoples and nations, which formed for us a mixture of local tribes and other expatriates as a result of several factors that prompted them to search for security and stability. The Moors, the Numidians, the Gitol. The economic, social, and cultural factors in the western Mediterranean also played an important role in the concentration of local and immigrant peoples, in the formation of settlements and trading stations. The Phoenicians established commercial settlements along the coastal strip in order to expand their commercial influence and control over The regions, the differing opinions of historians and researchers about the genealogical problem of the inhabitants of the ancient Maghreb between supporters of local origins and others who refute them, by addressing several theories they tried to prove their opinions. The morphological characteristics of the Amazigh people, revealed by archaeological studies, express as an argument for the owners of this theory on the locality of the Berber man.	en_US
