dc.description	The armed conflict in Syria poses a major challenge to the environmental situation and the urban environment in the country. This conflict results in severe destruction and pollution, affecting infrastructure and public facilities, and leading to a shortage of clean water and deteriorating air quality. In addition, pollution of soil and water resources, loss of biodiversity, and negative health effects on the population. This environmental challenge poses an additional challenge to the sustainable development and health of the population in Syria. Facing these challenges requires integrated efforts to preserve the built environment and provide healthy and sustainable environmental resources for the population.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	النزاع المسلح في سوريا يشكل تحديًا كبيرًا للوضع البيئي والبيئة العمرانية في البلاد. تترتب على هذا النزاع تدمير وتلوث شديدين، مما يؤثر على البنية التحتية والمرافق العامة، ويؤدي إلى نقص في المياه النظيفة وتدهور جودة الهواء. تضاف إلى ذلك، تلوث التربة والمصادر المائية، وفقدان التنوع البيولوجي، وتأثيرات صحية سلبية على السكان. يشكل هذا التحدي البيئي تحديًا إضافيًا للتنمية المستدامة وصحة السكان في سوريا. إن مواجهة هذه التحديات يتطلب جهودًا متكاملة لتحقيق الحفاظ على البيئة العمرانية وتوفير موارد بيئية صحية ومستدامة للسكان	en_US
