dc.description	This study aims to protect the delinquent child in an important stage of the public prosecution in which the child commits the crime. What are the importance of these stages, as they require a special study in line with the specificities of this category, and this is what we will explain more through this research and by answering the problem: What is the extent of the effectiveness of the protection granted to the delinquent child during the stage of research and investigation? The results were as follows: In order to achieve the best interest of the child, many international conventions in general and Algerian legislation in particular have given wide guarantees and rights to the delinquent child in all stages of public prosecution, especially in the research and investigation stage.
