dc.description	This study dealt with the reality of accounting in insurance companies in Algeria under the financial accounting system, where we tried to determine the path of the documentary cycle and the chart of accounts for the insurance companies, and its effectiveness in achieving the information quality of the financial statements, the study aimed to know the role of the financial accounting system in the Algerian insurance company, Note that the accounting of insurance companies is a special accounting derived from the general accounting according to the financial accounting system, and this is due to the nature of the activity of the insurance companies, This study concluded that the insurance sector is distinguished by several characteristics from the rest of the sectors, the most important of which is the presence of accounts for this sector.	en_US
