dc.descriptionMastitis is defined as an inflammation of the mammary gland; it can be clinical, leading to major symptoms going as far as affecting the general condition of the animal, or subclinical. In this study we attempted to detect subclinical mastitis in ewes using the CMT method. The study concerned 40 ewes from different breeds and belonging to different areas of TIARET and MASCARA in the lactation phase, aged from 2 to 7 years, in good condition and have received no treatment. The results showed that 22.5% of the females, i.e. 09 ewes, presented subclinical mastitis. The older ones were the more affecteden_US
dc.description.abstractLa mammite est définie comme une inflammation de la glande mammaire elle peut être clinique, entraînant des symptômes majeurs allant jusqu’à l’atteinte de l’état général de l’animal, ou subclinique. Dans cette étude nous avons tenté de dépister les mammites subcliniques chez les brebis par méthode du CMT L’étude a concerné 40 brebis de différentes races dans différentes régions de TIARET et MASCARA en phase de lactation, âgées de 02 à 07 ans et présentant un bon état général et n’ayant reçu aucun traitement. Les résultats ont montré que 22.5% des femelles soit 09 brebis de l’effectif total ont présenté une mammite subclinique. Ce sont les femelles les plus âgées qui ont été sujettes à cette pathologieen_US
