dc.descriptionThe topic of foreign languages, especially French and English, has been gainingincreasing interest from educators. These two languages are taught at the elementary level, and there is a noticeable inclination among university students towards learning these languages. Based on this, this phenomenon deserves further study and careful investigation of its meanings, indicators, and factors that are proving their significance in reality. This is what has been highlighted in this study, which attempts to identify the factors that contribute to this from a sociological perspective by answering the research questions. Two temporary hypotheses were formulated: 1. Sociocultural factors have an influence on students' inclination to learn French or English. 2. Socioprofessional factors have an impact on students' inclination to use French or English in learning. Based on these main ideas, five major chapters were included. In the first chapter, the research methodology was discussed by presenting the research problem . The second chapter focused on the learner in general, while the third chapter discussed the language. The fourth chapter examined the Algerian society and its relationship with foreign languages. Then The final chapter focused on the in-field aspect of the study, including study tools, analysis of tables, and hypothesis discussions. To achieve these objectives, a descriptive-analytical method and a statistical method were used, A questionnaire was designed consisting of 33 questions and 3 main sections. The questionnaire was distributed to 100 participants, and 87 valid questionnaires were retrieved. Then, the distribution was done again to complete 100 valid questionnaires for statistical analysis. The study resulted in a set of important findings, including:Good parental education leads to an improvement in the language skills of college students. The family environment is related to students' inclination towards foreign languages.Furthermore, students' preference for learning French or English is driven by their personal desire in addition to the influence caused by these languages. The interest in these languages is motivated by several reasons such as the availability of future employment opportunities. These languages contribute to provide high chances of finding work in the professional fielden_US
dc.description.abstractيعد موضوع اللغات الأجنبية لاسيما اللغة الفرنسية واللغة الانجليزية يحظى باهتمام متزايد من طرف المهتمين بميدان التربية والتعليم حيث تدرس هاتان اللغتان في الطور الابتدائي وقد لاحظ المهتمون بهذا المجالان هناك ميولا لدى الطلبة الجامعين لهذه اللغات .ومن هذا المنطلق فان هذه الظاهرة تستحق المزيد من الدراسة المعمقة والتحري الدقيق عن دلالاتها ومؤشراتها وعواملها التي بدأت تثبت حقائقها على ارض الواقع وعليه فهذه الدراسة حاولت التعرف على العوامل المؤدية إلى ذلك من الجانب السوسيولوجي وذلك بالاجابة على على أسئلة الإشكالية التي أجيب عنها بصفة مؤقتة في فرضيتين وهي كتالي: للعوامل السوسيوثقاقية تأثير في ميول الطلبة للتعلم باللغة الفرنسية أو اللغة الانجليزية. للعوامل السوسيو مهنية تأثير على ميول الطلبة في استخدام اللغتين الفرنسية أو الانجليزية في التعلم.en_US
