| Abstract: | Un isolat d'Alternaria a été déterminé comme étant à l'origine de la tache brune des feuilles d'orange, dans les régions productrices d'agrumes du Nord-ouest d' Algérie. Ses caractéristiques macro et microscopiques ont été identifiées. L’activité antifongique d’Assa-foetida a été réalisée sur d’Alternaria des agrumes par la méthode de contact direct et de macro dilution en milieu liquide. L’Assa-foetida a montré une activité antifongique. La présente étude a montré également que l’Assa-foetida présente une forte concentration minimale inhibitrice sur la croissance mycélienne d’Alternaria ≥ 20%. |
| Description: | It was determined that an Alternaria isolate caused brown spots on orange leaves in an area of northwest en Algeria where citrus fruits are growing. Both macro and microscopic features have been identified. Assa-foetida's antifungal activity was carried out on Alternaria citrus fruits by direct contact and macro dilution in a liquid medium. This late was found to have antifungal activity; this study also demonstrated that Assa-foetida has a high minimal inhibitory concentration on the mycelial growth of Alternaria 20%. |
