dc.description	The issue of French forts and their role in the expansion of the desert of Algeria during the nineteenth century falls within the French colonial plans in the Algerian desert, in order to expand its influence and control of the trade routes and its outlets. Obtaining information and getting acquainted with the capabilities that the desert abounds in order for the colonizer to expand southward, and accordingly the French authorities proceeded to construct forts to link their colonies in the north of the continent with their areas of influence in West Africa, where they received a reaction represented in the rise of armed resistance against them, as the railway project that was implemented was embodied He allows them to penetrate deep into the desert, but he did not succeed.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	يندرج موضوع الحصون الفرنسية ودورها في التوسع بصحراء الجزائر خلال القرن التاسع عشر ضمن المخططات الإستعمارية الفرنسية في الصحراء الجزائرية ، لأجل توسيع نفوذها والسيطرة على الطرق التجارية ومنافذها ، فزاد إهتمامها بها وكان وراء ذلك دوافع سياسية إستراتيجية وعسكرية إقتصاديةإعتمدت على إرسال رحلات إستكشافية تجسسية من اجل الحصول على معلوماتوالتعرف على الإمكانيات التي تزخر بها الصحراء ليتمكن المستعمر للتوسع جنوبا وعليه شرعت السلطات الفرنسية إلى تشيد حصون لربط مستعمراتها بشمال القارة مع مناطق نفوذها في غرب قارة إفريقيا ، حيث تلقت ردة فعل تمثلت في قيام المقاومات المسلحة ضدها كما تم تسجيد مشروع السكة الحديدية الي يفسح لهم مجال التوغل في أعماق الصحراء إلا انه لم ينجح.	en_US
