dc.description	The modern era witnesses a great interest in authoring specialized dictionaries in various sciences and arts. Rhetoric, like the rest of the sciences, has received its share of attention. The: “Rhetoric is understanding and comprehension, revealing meanings in speech, knowing syntax, broadness in pronunciation, accuracy in rhyme, knowledge of intent, clarification by performance, correctness of sign, clarification of connotations, knowledge of speech, sufficiency in abbreviation rather than abundance, and manifestations of resolve on the government of brevity.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	يشهد العصر الحديث اهتماما كبيرا بتأليف المعاجم المتخصصة في شتى العلوم والفنون ،ولقد نال علم البلاغة على غرار بقية العلوم نصيبه من الاهتمام ،إذ عكف العديد من المهتمين بشؤون البلاغة العربية وعلومها إلى تصنيف العديد من المعاجم البلاغية وفي هذا السياق يأتي هذا البحث ليبرز جهود ابن رشيق القيرواني في دراسة المصطلح البلاغي من خلال كتابه " العمدة " ،الذي يعتبر من أهم ما خلفه التراث الأدبي ،وقد نقل فيه المؤلف قول المتقدمين في بيان وظائف البلاغة ،فقال : " البلاغة الفهم والإفهام وكشف المعاني بالكلام ومعرفة الإعراب والاتساع في اللفظ والسداد في النظم والمعرفة بالقصد والبيان بالأداء وصواب الإشارة وإيضاح الدلالة والمعرفة بالقول والاكتفاء بالاختصار عن الاكثار وامظار العزم على حكومة الاختصار .	en_US
