dc.descriptionIn this study, we aim to identify the patterns of Pragmatics dimension in dialogues by examining their communicative, influential, and achievement competencies. This will be achieved by analyzing the dialogue in the Quranic stories of Allah's conversations with Adam and Moses - peace be upon them - and Satan as a model for the study. We will explore the Pragmatics, dialogue, and reception by providing definitions and clarifying the relationship between dialogue and reception. Through this theoretical and practical presentation, we conclude that Pragmatics and argumentation have intentional, achievement-oriented, persuasive, and aesthetic dimensions. We also find that dialogue has a load of influential energy - it has purposes and objectives that vary depending on the context, whether it is guidance or warning or threat.en_US
