dc.description	Most of the principles of the United Nations Charter constitute an important pillar that qualifies Palestinian women and enables them to enjoy human rights and fundamental freedoms. The Geneva Conventions, and in particular the Fourth Geneva Convention on the Protection of Civilian Persons during Armed Conflicts, included a set of legal rules that guarantee Palestinian women special protection. The international legal mechanisms that were established to protect women in general and Palestinian women in particular did not apply and punish, as they only condemned Israeli violations of women's rights. This is due to the control of the United States of America and the lack of international will to initiate a lawsuit before the Rome International Criminal Court, which mainly deals with Israeli crimes.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	تشكل جل مبادئ ميثاق منظمة الأمم المتحدة ركيزة هامة تؤهل المرأة الفلسطينية وتخولها التمتع بحقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية. وتضمنت اتفاقيات جنيف وبالأخص اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة المعنية بحماية الأشخاص المدنيين أثناء النزاعات المسلحة جملة من القواعد القانونية التي تكفل للمرأة الفلسطينية حماية خاصة ولم تحض الآليات القانونية الدولية التي وضعت لحماية المرأة بشكل عام والمرأة الفلسطينية خاصة تطبيقا وعقابا، إذ اكتفت بمجرد التنديد على الانتهاكات الإسرائيلية لحقوق المرأة الفلسطينية وهذا راجع إلى سيطرة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية و انعدام إرادة دولية لتحريك دعوى أمام محكمة روما الدولية الجنائية، التي تختص أساسا بالجرائم الإسرائيلية.	en_US
