dc.description	The idea of compensation has evolved over the centuries, from revenge and punishment taken in blood (diya), to the recognition of the responsibility of the culprit and the compulsory payment of compensation for the damage inflicted on the injured, so that compensation was associated with the concept of punishment in its two types, restorative punishment and dissuasive punishment approved by the Islamic religion and positive legislation. Then, compensation is provided for the victim either directly or through social solidarity mechanisms under civil liability insurance or social security.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	تطور فكرة التعويض عبر العصور من الانتقام والقصاص إلى الدية، وصولاً إلى إقرار المسؤولية على المخطأ وإلزامه بدفع التعويض جبراً للضرر الذي لحق بالمضرور، فاقترن التعويض بمفهوم الجزاء بنوعيه الجزاء الإصلاحي والجزاء الردعي الذي أقرته الشريعة الإسلامية والتشريعات الوضعية وحددت مقوماته. ثم كفلت للمضرور حصوله على التعويض من المسؤول مباشرة أو عن طريق آليات التكافل الاجتماعي بموجب التأمين على المسؤولية أو الضمان الإجتماعي.	en_US
