| Résumé: | تتفق مختلف الديانات السماوية و التشريعات المقارنة على حماية حق الإنسان في الحياة،وبالتالي لا يجوز لأي كان المساس بهذا الحق حتى الإنسان نفسه لا يجوز له الاعتداء على هذا الحق ووضع حد لحياته لأنه ملك لله تعالى . غير أنه قد يحدث أن يتعرض الإنسان لحالة مرضية يستحيل شفاؤها من المنظور الطبي، مما يدفع بالمريض أو أحد أقاربه أو الطبيب إلى التفكير في إنهاء حياته إشفاقا عليه ورحمة به لتخليصه مما يعانيه من آلام، وبالرجوع إلى موقف كل من فقهاء الشريعة الإسلامية، أو رجال الديانات الأخرى، أو التشريعات الوضعية أو مواقف فقهاء القانون وكذا الأطباء نجدها تكاد تجمع على حماية حق الإنسان في الحياة باستثناء البعض الآخر منها، والذي يجيز ذلك تحث مسمى القتل الرحيم لتخليص المريض من آلام العذاب |
