Résumé:	من أبرز المصادر المحلية التي تحدثت عن تحرير مدينة وهران الثاني من قبضة الاحتلال الاسباني سنة 1791م/1206هـ ، كتاب الثغر الجماني في ابتسام الثغر الوهراني لأحمد بن محمد بن علي بن سحنون الراشدي، والذي هو في الأصل ارجوزة في وصف تحرير مدينة وهران من يد الاسبان على يد الباي محمد الكبير باي الغرب الجزائري والذي انتهى منه صاحبه سنة 1793م/1208هـ، والذي ألفه بطلب من الباي محمد الكبير وهو عبارة عن شبه يوميات لشاهد عيان عن أحداث الفتح، يبدأ فيه المؤلف بالتعريف بالباي محمد الكبير ثم يستطرد في الكلام عن الرباطات التي أقامها الباي للطلبة المحاصرين للمدينة والعلماء المكلفين بهؤلاء الطلبة المجاهدين، ولحيثيات الحرب بالتفصيل ،ثم بعد دخول المدينة يصف حالة الدمار الذي لحق بالمدينة من جراء الزلزال الذي ضرب المدينة سنة 1790م، ويتحدث عن أهم المعالم الباقية وكيف دخل الباي المدينة وأهم ما قام به، فالكتاب مهم ويؤرخ لحدث هام جدا في تاريخ الجزائر العثماني.
Description:	One of the most prominent local sources that spoke about Oran city liberation from the grip of the Spanish colonizer in 1791 is the book titled ‘al-thaghar aljamani fi ibtisam al-thaghar elouahrani’ written by Ahmed Ben Mohamed Ben Ali Ben Sahnoun Al-Rashidi. This book is originally a reference in describing the liberation of the city Oran from Spaniards by the Bay ‘Mohamed’, the Bay of the Algerian west. It was written in 1793AD, then published by the request of Mohamed Lekbir. Besides, it( looks like eyewitness diary about the events of the conquest. The writer started by introducing Mohamed Lekbir then he spoke about the relations that he had with the students who were in the city and their scientists, including the detailed events of the war. After Entering the city, he described the destroy of the city after an earthquake in1790.
