Résumé:	تهدف المكتبة المركزية للجامعة إلى جمع مصادر المعلومات وتنميتها بالطرق المختلفة ( الشراء والإهداء والتبادل والإيداع ) وتنظيمها[ فهرستها وتصنيفها وترتيبها على الرفوف ] واسترجاعها بأقصر وقت ممكن ، وتقديمها إلى مجتمع المستفيدين [ قراء وباحثين ] على اختلافهم من خلال مجموعة من الخدمات التقليدية، كخدمات الإعارة والمراجع والدوريات والتصوير والخدمات الحديثة كخدمات الإحاطة الجارية ، والبث الانتقائي للمعلومات ، والخدمات الأخرى المحسوبة وذلك عن طريق كفاءات بشرية مؤهله علمياً وفنياً وتقنياً في مجال علم المكتبات والمعلومات . و منه يمكن القول بأنه يجب على المكتبات الجامعية أن تواكب كل التطورات و المستجدات الحاصلة في البيئة الإلكترونية أو التكنولوجية من أجل الحفاظ على دورها في البحث العلمي و القيام بدورها على أحسن وجه
Description:	ة- المكتبةالمركزةاامعية Abstract : The central library of the university aims to collect and develop information sources in various ways (purchasing, gifting, exchanging and depositing), organizing them [indexing, categorizing and arranging them on shelves] and retrieval in the shortest possible time, and presenting them to the community of beneficiaries [readers and researchers] of all kinds through a set of traditional services, such as lending and reference services. periodicals, photocopying and modern services such as current briefing services, selective broadcasting of information, and other calculated services by means of scientifically and technically qualified human competencies in the field of library and information science.It can be said that university libraries must keep pace with all developments and developments in the electronic or technological environment in order to preserve their role in scientific research and perform their role in the best way.
