Résumé:	لقد شهد الحوض الغربي للبحر الأبيض المتوسط منذ أقدم العصور أحداثا هامة وخطيرة، تركت بصماتها على مجرى سير الاحداث، ولعل أهمها الصراع الاسباني-الجزائري الذي اقتطع من تاريخ المنطقة ثلاثة قرون من الزمن، تاركا أثارا على المسرح الدولي عامة وعلى الطرفين المتنازعين على وجه الخصوص، ليس بنهاية الصراع عام1206هـ/1792مـ فحسب، بل امتد بشكل أو بآخر ليئثر على سير الاحداث في التاريخ المعاصر. وعند البحث في المصادر التي تناولت الموضوع والتعمق في النظر لتفسيراتها، نرى بعض المصادر تكتب بانحياز مفرط بحسب معتقد، أو قضية يؤمن بها ويدافع عنها الباحث، ولكي نفسر حوادثها نحتاج الى وقفة للنظر فيها، واعادة قراءتها من جديد لكي تتحقق أصالة البحث. ومن خلال هذا المقال، سنحاول أن نتوقف عند بعض الكتابات المحلية منها والأجنبية التي شكلت الركيزة الكبرى والهدف الجوهري العام لهذه الدراسة، كما نحاول ضبط مفهوم وتاريخية الصراع بين الطرفين، وأسبابه الدينية خاصة، في اشكالية تمحورت حول دور المصادر التاريخية وأدبياتها في كتابة التاريخ، ومدى مصداقيتها في الاعتماد ليها، معتمدين في مقاربة على المنهج التاريخي المقارن الملائم لهذه الدراسة أكثر من غيره من المنطلقات والمناهج.
Description:	The western basin of the Mediterranean has witnessed important and dangerous events since the earliest times, which have left their mark on the course of events. Perhaps the most important of which is the Spanish-Algerian conflict, which has carved out three centuries of history in the region and left big effects on the world’s scene in general and on the disputing parties in particular. It was not by the end of the conflict in 1206 AH / 1792 AD, the date of the final liberation of the city of Oran, but extended, in one way or another, to affect the course of events in contemporary history. When looking at the sources that dealt with the topic and digging deeper into their explanations, we guess that some of these sources written with excessive bias according to the belief or issue the researcher believes in and defends them, and in order to explain their incidents, we need to pause to consider them, and re-read them again in order to achieve the authenticity of the research. Through this article we will try to stop at some of the domestic and foreign writings, articulating the different visions that formed the main pillar and the overall objective of this study, as well as trying to control the concept and history of conflict between the parties and its religious reasons in particular, in a problem centered on the role of historical sources and literature in writing history , and the credibility of relying on the real perception of historical events in view of the real facts, based on an approach to the historical comparative approach appropriate for this study more than other premises and approaches.
