| dc.description | The contemporary city in the Mediterranean region is undergoing profound changes. This implies the need to acquire innovative instruments that adapt to new challenges and different ways of thinking and acting for a new urbanism. In this context, the urban sprawl from big cities to satellite cities represents a development of urbanized surfaces on the outskirts of the city sometimes arriving at what is called the urban conurbation. Thus this article sheds light on this phenomenon of urban sprawl between the city of Annaba and El-Bouni, a perfect example that illustrates all the mutations inherent in the spreading mechanisms. | en_US |
